James H. Miller, 87, passed away on May 18, 2015. He was born on March 15, 1928 to the late Henry G. and Lucy Miller.
Mr. Miller served in the US Coast Guard and retired from NARF as an Aviation Metalsmith. He was well known for the joy he derived from his vegetable garden.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 68 years Shirley E. Miller; son Roy Miller and his wife Lilia; daughters Diana Miller and Charlotte Miller; sister Emma Ruth; five grandchildren Paul, Joel, Beth, Heather and Chris; and six great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2015 from 6-8PM at Smith and Williams Funeral Home; 818 Norview Ave., Norfolk VA.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, May 22, 2015 at 11:30 AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Rosewood Memorial Park
