Gayle Hill Stephens

She was a life long Virginia resident, born to the late George Franklin Hill and Elsie Mae Keeter Hill. Gayle was the first born daughter of four, and also had three brothers. As she was one of seven children, family became very important to Gayle. She adored and always looked forward to spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Cindy Mathias (Steve); her son, Gary Stephens; her grandchildren, Austin Mathias (Lauren), Ryan Mathias, Jessica Mathias, Alex Jaffee-Landau (Mike); her great grandchildren, Kyla Mathias, Wyatt Mathias, Waylon Mathias, and Eli Landau; her son in law, Charles Jaffee; her three sisters, Deloris Shelton of Florida, Bobbie Minga, and Shirley Knox; and an extended family and friends.

Gayle is preceded in death by her husband, James F. Stephens, Jr.; her daughter, Chris Jaffee; her parents, George and Elsie Hill; and her brothers, Franklin Hill, Carl Hill, and Henry Hill.

The family will have a private Celebration of Life to honor Gayle's memory as she will be dearly missed and loved always.
