He was the only child of Wanda Crump and was born and raised in Maryland but also spent time in Colorado, Florida and Pennsylvania before settling in Chesapeake, Virginia. He attended Indian River High School and most recently was employed at the Chesapeake Conference Center.
He was a compassionate, articulate, generous, intelligent, artistic, fun-loving young man who channeled much of his creativity into his cosplay outfits and performances. This garnered him a wide multitude of admirers in the world of cosplay.
He is survived by his mother, Wanda, of Chesapeake, Virginia, his uncle, Dandridge Crump and cousin Amanda Crump, both of San Jose, California. He will be missed by his special "family", Roosevelt, Kim, Rosie and Michaela Gray, and a host of other family and friends as well as 2 loving cats.
A Cosplay Celebration of Life Reception will be from 4:00 - 8:00 PM on Friday, July 22, 2022 at Woodlawn Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers or GoFundMe contributions, please donate to the ASPCA.org.
