Edward B. Rudiger, 97, a lifelong resident of Norfolk passed away at his home on August 24, 2010. Mr. Rudiger was predeceased by Alice W. Rudiger, his wife of 78 years. He is survived by his two sons, James M. Rudiger and his wife Jacqueline and Jack E. Rudiger and his wife Patricia; five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. Mr. Rudiger was founder of E.B. Rudiger and Sons, Inc. He loved his dog Skippy, fishing, and crabbing from his pier and spending time at his cottage in Nags Head. The family wants to thank Lisa Turner, Shelia Holloman, Lisa Wilson, Victoria Brown, and LaTonya Jarrett for their loving tender care of our Dad and Grandfather in his last days.
