Yrs have passed. I miss you. You now have 6 grand kids and 2 step grandkids. Im doing well. Still with that good guy from va, now 8 going on 9 yrs. Not yet married cause I feel odd neither you nor my mom would be there... def miss you. Seth has a baby otw! Thats amazing. Im glad I got to have some time in life to get to know you and reading the comments, im thankful to have had you as my dad. I see where the kind heart comes from lol. So odd not to be able to just message and have a respond back. I miss you. Really do.

It is just over a year since we lost you , and though we never met I think about you most days and miss you terribly . You made me cry with laughter , you made me swear like a trooper , you always made me smile . Game life isn’t the same without you and my real life is poorer without you

Even thou we never met in person, I enjoyed the time playing the game with you.  I didn't talk much and yet you kept trying to open me up.  Thank you for your help and all the crazy stuff you did to make it fun.  You will be missed by everyone you know.  My deepest sympathy to your family.

Today, I'm celebrating your birthday without you. My best friend, my to go to person. There are absolutely no words to describe the loss I'm feeling today. It's weighing heavy on my heart and soul that I'll never see you or talk to you again.... We met when I was 13 when you and the crew would skateboard in the church parking lot next to moms house. You were stylish, fun and CRAZY!!!  The talents you gained were beyond exceptional and such a variety of perfections you obtained were out of this world. You wanted to just give give give, always. No matter who needed help you were there to try to resolve any issue they had. Strangers too! You've come to my rescue a countless amount of times. I will never let any memory pass me by from the last 35 years. All I can hear you say is "Hey Mister!!" I know life got hard as adulting happened and you pushed through the obstacles life threw at you. You were one of the strongest men I knew. At this time of mourning for our loss, I do know that you've got alot of friends and a beautiful family who love you!! I will always love you and miss you my friend. Until we meet again.

My condolences go out to each and every one of Doug's friends and family. He touched so many lives. 

For one of the very few times in my life my brother I am at a loss for words.  It seems like just yesterday when me and my kids mom split and you rented me half your house just to help us out.  The time that me you, Melanie and Seth spent together I will always cherish.  I also will always remember you for you everlasting desire to work on things and help me out with my car business.  That little business and your help with it, helped me become the successful business person that I am now in many ways.  I will always love you for it and you will always be my brother.  Your kids can still & will always call me Uncle and can come to me if they ever need anything.  The tears I’ve shed for you recently are not in vain.  They are at reminder to me how much I LOVE YOU, Seth, Margarete & Earl. know that you will be missed by everyone that knew you.  But I feel I’ll be tops on that list after your kids, Earl ans Mel.  Till we meet again my Brother.  

Words can not express the loss of you!! You made everyone you met feel welcome and of value.  We all will never forget you and your humor!  Even though we never met you will always be my brother.  See you on the other side my man!!

I am so saddened to learn of  your passing and it makes me sad. I will never forget you! You had me in hysterics every time we chatted and I'm going to miss our meme conversations. I hope to meet you one day in the afterlife. You touched my life from all the way across the pond.

It's hard to find the words... Doug you have been a part of my life for so long. You blessed me with an amazing son. I don't think we will ever stop feeling the pain of losing you. Thank you for loving me, thank you for being a wonderful father to not only Seth but Bryce as well. You will forever be in my heart. I know you are up there watching over us. I see so much of you in Seth. And I also know you will stay with him protecting him till we all meet again. ❤️
