Brenda Sue Frank

Mrs. Brenda Sue Frank, born November 27, 1941, in Shelby NC, went to be with the Lord peacefully in the care of her daughter on September 7, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward R. Frank, Jr., her parents Worth and Frankie Kelly, and brother Steve Kelly.

Brenda graduated with the first class of Princess Anne High School in 1961, where on scholarship she attended Frederick College in Portsmouth VA, and met and married her sweetheart "Big Ed!" She retired from Landmark Communications and was a member of Virginia Beach Free Will Baptist Church.

She leaves to cherish her memory and legacy with her two daughters; Myra Frank Chapple and husband Ted of Norfolk VA, Melissa Frank Dailey and Billy Short of Virginia Beach, VA. , granddaughters; Ashley and Amanda and great grandson Ryder Blayne, five sisters; Andrea Wyatt of Fort Worth, TX, Maida Bryant of Norfolk, VA, Chandra Kuhn of Norfolk, VA, Bridget Buchanan of Fredericksburg, VA, and Tracy Brown of Suffolk VA, brother; Dennis Kelly of Norfolk, VA along with their spouses and family and many nieces, nephews, cousins and family in the Smoky Mountains of TN.

A visitation will be held at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 6329 E. Virginia beach Blvd, Norfolk, VA, 23502 on Monday, September 12, 2016, from 10am to 12pm with a graveside service following immediately after the visitation.
