Arthur Milton Bull

Arthur Milton Bull, 80, died on March 13, 2009. Born in Keller on the Eastern Shore of VA, he was the son of the late Olen Bull and Avis (Bull) Bell. He lived all of his adult life in Chesapeake’s Indian River community where he coached many seasons of Little League baseball and served as a volunteer fireman for the Washington Borough station. He retired from Ford Motor Company after 33 years. He was a member of Indian River Baptist Church.

Mr. Bull is survived by Mabel Carter Bull, his wife of 58 years; Linda Anne Bull, daughter; Janet B. and Pete Gregory, daughter and son-in-law; and Arthur Lee and Sandra Bull, son and daughter-in-law. He also leaves four grandchildren: SPC John M. Gregory, US Army; Marinda C. Gregory; Lindsey J. Bull; and Caleb D. Bull.

The family will receive visitors on Monday, March 16, 2009, from 6:30-8:00 p.m., at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 6329 Virginia Beach Blvd., Norfolk, VA 23502. Rev. Robert F. Pittman III will officiate the funeral service and interment on Tuesday, March 17, 2009, at 1:00 p.m. at Woodlawn Funeral Home. The family suggests that any memorial contributions go to the Chesapeake Fire Dept., Station 3 (Indian River), 1826 Rokeby Ave., Chesapeake, VA 23325.
