I just heard of this trageic loss today and couldnt believe it. I worked with Michael at EMI for a short while about 5 years ago. I never got to know him very well but we always had something in common. I too stutter. I know the frustration he lived with everyday and I was happy to hear that he finally met someone special. It's such a great feeling of acceptance for someone who stutters to finally find someone to love. I'm sorry for your loss Britany and I know you're suffering but just know that you were his angel and now he can be yours. I'm thankful everyday for having met my wife.

I am a nurse and used to work at infusion partners for over 10yrs.   Michael was one of my favorite patients ... He was sooo sweet!  My prayers go out to his family in your loss!

It is with great regret that I didn't get to meet Michael over the last couple years that he worked with Varian.  We shared more than our home state,  we shared our last name Bourgeois as well.  I had hoped to see if we shared family somewhere down the line.

I thoroughly enjoyed working with Mike at Varian.  He was very smart and did not shy away from difficult problems. He handled himself professionally, won over his customers, and earned the respect of his coworkers.  I appreciated his friendship and sense of humor.
