He is survived by his loving wife, Maisy LeBlanc Robicheaux, their wonderful children, Abby Blood (Alek), Sarah Cambre (Jacob), and Kane Robicheaux (Lynzee Lentz), and his grandchildren whom he adored, Roman Robicheaux and Paisley Blood. He is also survived by his father, Charles Donald Robicheaux, siblings, Michael (Kristi), Suzanne Dupre (Darren), Donald, Kyle (Rachel), Keith (Michelle), Heidi Chapman, and Shawn (Deborah), mother-in-law, Marie Carbo LeBlanc, and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Christine Lambert, Dalton Leblanc, Becky Raiford, and Hilary Plauche, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Roussel Robicheaux, father-in-law, Durel Clement Leblanc, brothers-in-law, Mark Chapman and Paul Lambert, and sister-in-law, Beverly Cazenave.
Kenny worked at Bayou Steel for 9 years before becoming an operations supervisor for Marathon Petroleum, where he retired in 2017 after 27 years of service. He was an avid cook, a lover of music, and enjoyed being outdoors. His fulfillment at work came from mentoring those whom he trained. His greatest passion was spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren, and their large family.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Thursday, April 20, 2023 at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 13396 River Rd. Destrehan, LA. Visitation will be held from 10 AM – 12 PM with a funeral Mass to begin at 12 PM. Interment will follow at St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the ALS association, Steve Gleason Foundation, or the American Heart Association.
