Karen "Mama 2" Woodruff

Karen “Mama 2” Woodruff, age 52, passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at Ochsner Medical Center in Jefferson. She was employed for Thrift Village Drugs in Luling for 30 years. A very loving wife and mother who never met a stranger,was known as the “social director” and everyone was her friend.

She is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Billy Woodruff. Three sons, Lance Michael Woodruff (Michelle), Reese Woodruff (Chara) and Phillip Woodruff (Charles) and sister; Angelic Mack (Chris) and niece, Destiny Walker. Future grandchild, Laney Ann Woodruff. A special cousin, Greg Jordan. Aunts, uncles, a host of friends and her beloved Saints.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Evon Leggett.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 30, 2011 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at H. C. Alexander Funeral Home in Norco. Memorial services will be held at 8:00 pm in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Karen Woodruff Memorial Fund at the First American Bank, 13919 River Road, Suite 100, Luling , LA 70070.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of H. C. Alexander Funeral Home in Norco.
