Jerrilynn,

I have so many things to say to you and I didn't get the chance.  You called me 7 years ago for help and then I never heard from you again.  I have called you, I have wrote you letters, I have worried so much.  I was coming to Louisiana next month to visit a friend who recently moved there and I was going to find you and give you a piece of my mind for making me worry so much!  But, mostly I just wanted to give you a hug and see that you were safe.  I finally found you again though last night as I searched the internet for you once more.  Now I am so angry at myself for not driving down there sooner.  I miss you.  You were my best friend in a time when I had no one.  And many times since then I have needed you still.  I know that we will meet again someday though and then we can share old stories as well as new.  

To Jerrilynn's family I am so sorry for your loss.  Ashley, I don't know if you remember me or not but I hope that you and your family are all doing well.

Rest in Peace my old friend.

I meet Gary nearly twenty years ago at a hunting club in St. Helena Parish.  We spend many enjoyable times hunting or talking about hunting.  Gary was the good friend that taught me about the simple pleasures of being around fellow hunters.  Just talk hunting, fishing, or LSU football was priceless.  Camp life means eating a great meal like a gumbo made by Gary and having a few drinks, diet coke, after a great day hunting.  Gary was a good friend, we will miss him.

Again, my deepest sympathy and condolences to the Felder family with the passing of Gary.

I often wish that I could be where you are because life on earth is pure chaos. But God is keeping me here for a reason, and only he knows what my purpose here is. But I do know  that when my time here is done, we will meet again in the comforting world of eternal life. Rest In Peace Jerrilynn, and may you be in the comforting arms of god.

Jerrilynn, I truely believe that you are at peace now, May God give your family the comfort and peace of knowing that time will heal all wounds.

No words can express the hurt we feel losing a friend; we can only keep the memories and know that they are in a better place. My prayers to Sherri and family.

I guess I still can't believe this has happened but I know your not gonna hurt anymore. Your with God now and That's as much as anyone can get from this life. When I last saw you we had an argument and I hate it happened .It should never come to that with family. We were all so close as kid's and as we grew.Why families drift apart I just don't know.I know you were not still mad with me any more than I was you, but it still hurt's that we didn't get to apologize before you left. It would have meant the world to me. Just as every memory of you and all our families and friend's mean the world to me. The truth is I love you just as I do all of my family and would do anything to keep any one of you from feeling five second's of pain. Some thing's however, are just not in my control. That's why it hurt's us all for you to go. Because I know that any one of us as a family would do anything we could for each other even though life had us so far apart. I just hope the example that your passing has set for me, will carry on throughout our family and bring us closer together.We were a strong family unit once and we can be again. This I will try to see happen in honor of you. So with that said, I hope all of our family , brother's , sister's , mom's , dad's aunt's , uncle's and the entire generation of children we have following us know, that I am here for all of them in any way needed. If I can do any thing at all, I will be there. To all that read this as well, I am but a phone call or an instant message away.  I love you JerryLynn and I am very sorry you have to go. I'm reading this obituary after the fact and am heartbroken. I have been following the information hoping to pay my respects. I am so saddened that I'm only able to write ...Jerrilyn, you are where we all hope to be someday, but way too soon. I especially remember hanging at recess at SCB, singing songs by Bread. We had some sweet harmonies on "Diary. " Your smile was contagious then and now heaven gets to experience it. Please watch over us, your friends, old and new. Always in my heart! Rest in peace beautiful girl.

So deeply sorry about the lost of a very dear friend. My condolences go out to the Melancon family and all of us who will miss Jerrilynn dearly. She always had a special place in my heart.

My sympathy goes out to the Melancon Family. I have great memories of Jerrilynn in the years I went to school with her. She was a kind person.

My deepest sympathy to the family. I never knew Jerrilynn but I know her father and to him there are not enough words to express my feelings of sadness.  No parent should ever have to bury a child for that is the deepest hurt. May your faith be your support.

My heart aches for you and your family during this time. Jerrilynn was such an amazing person and she will truly be missed. My condolences.
