James R. Bordelon passed away July 28, 2017 at the age of 86. He is survived by his children Theresa Bordelon, Rhonda Bordelon, Marty Bordelon, Sharon Taylor Thibodeaux, Cynthia Wall, Sandra Lockwood, Becky Hyde, Bruce Bourgeois, his loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his first wife, Ethel McLeod.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Alice Bordelon, siblings Burton, Louis Jr., Ida, and Daisy, and his parents Louis Bordelon Sr. and Martha Olivia Guillory Bordelon.
He was a parishioner of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Laplace and a member of the choir. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Relative and friends are invited to attend a visitation at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 529 W 5th St. Laplace, LA, on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 beginning at 9:15 AM.
