Harlon Rushing

He was the beloved husband of Janell Rushing; the father of Randy Rushing (Mary) and the late Theresa St. Germain and Janet McGaughey; brother of the late Altus, Jay, Jerry, Betty, and Willie Nell and the grandfather of Casey Welch, Tabatha Anderson, Jessica Bowers, Melissa Williams, Roy St. Germain, Trey Triche, Jade Triche, Micheal Tamburello and Mark Tamburello. He is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren. He served in the National Guard in MS and was honorably discharged on December 31, 1962. He worked as a pipefitter with the Plumber and Pipefitter’s Local Union 60 for 60 years before retiring.

The Rushing family invites you to attend the visitation on Sunday evening, October 16, 2022 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm and again on Monday morning, October 17, 2022 from 9:00 am until 10:00 am followed by the funeral service at First Baptist Church of Norco, 626 Fifth St. in Norco, LA. Interment will be in the Rushing Cemetery in Tylertown, MS at 2:30 pm.
