Enola Zeringue Trosclair passed away April 13, 2025, at the age of 95. A native of New Sarpy all her life. Daughter of the late Toussaint and Gertrude Zeringue, and beloved wife of the late Eldon Trosclair. She helped her parents run the family grocery store, New Sarpy Food Store. She would go on to work as a school librarian and worked in special education with St. Charles Parish. Her passion was working with the needs of children.
Enola was a loving mother to her three sons, Ronnie Trosclair, Sr. and wife Joan of Norco, Todd Trosclair, Sr., and wife Amy of Destrehan, Elwin Trosclair and wife Colleen of Lutcher, and daughter Connie Boudreaux and husband, Curtis of Montz. Grandmother of Jason Smith, Sr., Jill Cadow, Nicole Lasserre, Danielle Poirier, Ronnie Trosclair, Jr. Blake Trosclair, Todd Trosclair, Jr., Tasha Warren, Tonia Trosclair, Amanda Trosclair, and Jared Trosclair, as well as 20 great grandchildren, and one great- great grandchild. She is also survived by her brother, Sterling Zeringue.
She is preceded in death by her grandson, Curtis G. Boudreaux and Tate Trosclair and her brothers, Carl, Melvin, Roy, and Curtis Zeringue.
Enola loved history and kept up with current affairs and had her opinions.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 13396 River Rd. Destrehan, LA beginning at 10AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:30AM with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
