David Lane Jr.

David Lane Jr. was born November 4, 1961 and passed away September 19, 2020. He is survived by his children, Nequnette Lane, Desjenee Cole (Clarence), and David Lane III; grandchildren, Henry Robinson, Aniyah Lane, Caiden Cole, Cayleigh Cole, Carter Cole, Zion Lane, and Kingston Lane; and godchildren, Keiona Washington and Terrel Carter. He is also survived by his father, David Lane Sr., sister Cassandra Williams (Michael), brother Carl Lane, and the mother of his children, Leslie Washington, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and many family members to cherish his memory.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Ethel Webb, brothers James and Michael Lane, and his sister Brenda Bakes.

Mr. David was the owner of Lane’s Lawn Care and enjoyed lifting weights, watching western movies, snacks, and spending time with his family. He was a skilled and organized man with a hard exterior, but was a soft hearted and loving man on the inside. He was always there to encourage, provide guidance, and listen. He will be remembered for the impact he made in the lives of many.
