Daniel Joseph Weber, Jr. “Danny” “Hillbilly” passed away October 10, 2023 at the age of 52. He is preceded in death by his parents, Daniel Weber Sr. and Mary Johnson and his grandparents, Clifford and Gertie Weber. Danny is survived by his siblings, Belinda W. Mauduit (Steve), Theresa W. Trahan (Tobey), Paula Guiles Braddock (Steven), Charles Weber (Lesley), Joshua Weber, and Danielle W. Matherne (Craig). He is also survived by his step-siblings Corey Arabie (Jade) and Brandon Arabie, his son, Chance Christian Weber, and his companion Lindsay Matherne, as well as his good friend and father figure, Jerry “Yank” Pratt and numerous nieces and nephews.
During his life Danny worked as a heavy equipment operator and mechanic, but his life’s true pleasures were shrimping, fishing, and being on the water. He loved to eat, play pool, dance, and joke around with family and friends. He will be remembered as a colorful dresser, always dressing to the nines, from his hat to his patent leather shoes.
A memorial will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at the Norco Civic Association, 555 Goodhope St. Norco, LA from 2PM to 4PM.
