Daughter of Ralph and Louise Passerini. Sister of the late Mafalda Allen. Doris leaves two sons, Mark of Colchester and Scott of Waterford and her husband Paul. She was a graduate of Enfield High School in Thompsonville, CT. Doris worked for and retired from the East Lyme School Lunch Program. Doris and Paul met when they both worked for the Springfield Mass. Gas and Light Co.
They moved many times- Springfield, West Springfield, Agawam, Old Lyme, East Lyme and finally settled in Waterford.
During this marriage she was a strong champion for the care and resources available for their mentally handicapped sons. She loved them deeply, she will be greatly missed.
A Graveside service will be held on Friday, April 28, 2023 at 11:am in St. Andrews Cemetery, Gillettes Ln., Colchester, CT.
