Violet Rae (Lever) Gibson

Born in Niagara Falls, March 18, 1925 and passed away at Greater Niagara General in Niagara Falls on March 8th 2022 at the age of 96. Predeceased by her loving husband of 60 years Leslie (1921-2006). Sadly missed by her 2 sons; Wayne (Lynn) Gibson & David L. (Linda) Gibson. Beloved grandmother to Heather, Jennifer (Monty), Kevin (Nicole), Dennis (Melissa), and 7 great-grandchildren; Morgan, Liam, Meghan, Ronan, Wyatt, Jaxon, Seth, and Brianna. Also survived by her sister-in- law Lucy Lever.

Predeceased by her brother Howard J. Lever (1927-2015), and sister Marjorie Lever (1931-2012).

Violet sang in the area choirs, entertaining in many nursing homes. She enjoyed artwork, family life and was a long-standing member of Stamford Presbyterian Church.

The family will receive visitors at Stamford Presbyterian Church, 3121 St. Paul Avenue, Niagara Falls on Friday March 18th 2022 from 10:00am- 11:00am. A Funeral Service will begin at 11:00am with burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery. Donations to Stamford Presbyterian Church would be appreciated.
