Stepan Matyichuk

He will be deeply missed by his two sons Vlad (Larysa) of Niagara Falls and Marko (Inna) of Ukraine. Loving grandpa to Dima, Victor, Mukola, Paul, Julia, Nadija, and Melanija and great-grandpa to Eugene, Sergiy, and Karolina.

Stepan is predeceased by his two sons Stepan and Ivan, partner Barbara and her daughter Christina, and is survived by her son Anjay (Zofia).

Stepan was born in West Ukraine in a small village and moved to Canada in 1990 making Niagara Falls his home.

A visitation for Stepan will be held Wednesday, November 30, 2022 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Hetherington & Deans Funeral Chapel, 5176 Victoria Avenue, Niagara Falls. Panachyda will begin at 7 p.m. A funeral service will be held Thursday, December 1, 2022 at 10:00 AM at St. Mary - Nativity of the Holy Mother of God Ukrainian Catholic Church, 6248 Main Street, Niagara Falls at 10 a.m. with a burial at Fairview Cemetery to follow.
