Marjorie Howarth Shaw

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Marjorie Shaw announces her sudden passing on December 18th, 2015 at St. Catharines General Hospital in her 89th year. Predeceased by her loving husband Leonard in 2009. Loving mother to Susan McCullough (Donald), Brian Shaw (Rachel) and Valerie Franco (Daniel McDonald). Cherished Grammie of Heather DiGiacomo, Paul McCullough, David McCullough, Robyn Franco and Tyler Shaw. Loving Great-Grammie of Devon, Aedan, Sean, Liam and Ava. Loving sister to Elsie Atkinson (William). Fondly remembered by her many relatives in England.

Marjorie and Leonard were long time members of the Royal Canadian Navy Association. She was happiest enjoying the tranquility of her beautiful garden, reading, baking goodies in her kitchen and sharing the company of her family and friends.

Visitation will be held at Hetherington & Deans Funeral Chapel, 5176 Victoria Avenue, Niagara Falls on Tuesday December 22nd, 2015 from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm. Services in the chapel on Wednesday December 23rd at 11am. She will be laid to rest beside Leonard at St. David's United Church Cemetery, 1453 York Road, Niagara-on-the-Lake. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice in her honour.
