Many a cup of tea has been shared with Aunt Lois, particularly at Lake McQuaby where we all love to be... Her cheerful spirit and sage advice will be dearly missed ... and always remembered. As the old adage goes, it takes a whole village to raise a child and my childhood was blessed because   Aunt Lois was part of my village.  A simple city dump exploration, swim at the local pool, or a quiet canoe ride around McQuaby always had the chance of becoming a super special occasion if I was lucky enough to connect with Aunt Lois. Aunt Lois' love of family and life and her infectious smile, brightened the lives of all the people who were fortunate enough to know her.  I am saddened to think I will not be able to share another pot of tea with my Aunt Lois but know the memories I have of her will continue to be a source of inspiration and strength.  May God bless and comfort Aunt Lois' family and friends as they go through this sad time in their life.

Our deepest sympathy to Uncle Jack, Betty, John, Mike and families.  We have many wonderful memories of times spent with Aunt Lois, Uncle Jack  and family over the years.  When we lived in Powassan we enjoyed time together between our family cottage and  theirs.  Aunt Lois' cheerful disposition was her hallmark, seeing the humorous side of situations but always sensitive to the feelings of others.  She will be fondly remembered and sadly missed. Truly wonderful wife, mother and friend.  Lois left us all with some happy memories especially up at their cottage at Lake McQuaby.  When in good health she was glad to do anything to make you feel welcomed.  I will miss her dearly.  And, always be grateful for the good times we shared together.

Lois gave me many happy memories; especially when invited up to their cottage with their son, my friend John and rest of the gang.  My deepest condolences go out  to Jack and all the family.

Always remember Aunt Lois at the pool when we would visit nanny and grandpa(gord &Ethel). And the pigeons her and uncle Jack gave us one year. I haven't seen them in many years, but think of her and Uncle Jack often.
