After a courageous battle at the Hotel Dieu Shaver Hospital in St. Catharines Ontario on December 1st, 2015 at the age of 56. Sadly missed by her loving husband Ron and children Jessica (Jonathan), James, Cole (Caro) & Clay. Beloved sister to Jane, Nora (Dave) Annie (Randy) & Carol (Bruce). Also will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces & great-nephews. Katy was a life-long artist who worked in all mediums and was the co-founder of The Wiarton Artist Cooperative. She was the “light” in many people’s lives and was a great friend to many with a generous kind & caring spirit. It is with this generous spirit that her wishes were to donate her body to science.
There will be a Celebration of Life held at HETHERINGTON AND DEANS FUNERAL CHAPEL, 5176 Victoria Avenue, Niagara Falls on Saturday December 5th, 2015, at 1:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Hotel Dieu Shaver Hospital would be appreciated.
