Frances Hanna

It is with sadness the family announces the passing of Frances Hanna on March 25, 2013 at the Eventide Home in her 100th year. Beloved wife of the Late Marcus (Mark) Hanna (1971). Loving mother of Robert (Bob) and his wife Carol. Dear grandmother to Jon-Mark (Wendy) and Jo-Ann Hanna. Great grandmother of Jacob. She is survived by sisters-in-law, Alice Hanna and June West. Predeceased by her brother Ernie Synes; sisters Agnes Wattam and Daisy Stuchell; her brothers-in-law Orrin, Jack and Norman Hanna; her sisters-in-law Nora Bale, Lola Storey, Harriett Thompson and Maxine McNally.

Our most grateful appreciation and thanks to all of the staff of the Eventide Home, a place she called home for many years. The compassion shown by all has been of great comfort. A special thank you to her niece Raeanne for all her kindness.

Fran was a volunteer with the local chapter of the Canadian Cancer Society for many years.

Family will receive friends at Hetherington & Deans Funeral Chapel from 10 a.m. to 12 noon on Saturday March 30, with private interment to follow.
