It is with great sorrow but with much joy for a life well lived that we announce on behalf of his family the passing of Angus on the evening of February 27th,2018, eleven days after his 90th birthday. He was predeceased by his wife Jean, brothers Bob and Claude, and sister, Ursula (Mic) Hutchinson. Survived by his sisters-in-law Marjorie and Jean, and many dearly loved and thought of nieces and nephews.
Angus was a true outdoorsman who loved nature, starting his career in the logging and mining business before joining the Ironworkers Union. He worked on major projects, both skyway bridges, Toyota Cambridge plant and the OPG plant to name a few.
Living on the river in Chippawa for over fifty years he loved to boat and fish, enjoying the seasons outside. He spent countless hours repairing and fabricating in his garage, his abilities never ceased to amaze us. He was a quiet and gentle man that will truly be missed. Lovingly remembered by his dear friends Steve and Julie Reiman and their family, and Carol Whittall.
Thank-you to the many caring doctors , nurses and support staff at Oakwood Park Lodge who cared for Angus in his final six months. Cremation has taken place with a private interment to follow at a later date.
