It is with great sadness that the Huard family announces the passing of Alice Huard (nee Desbiens) on May 30, 2012 at the age of 98 years, born in Mille-Vaches, Quebec. Affectionately known as "Ma" or "Memere", she was a great woman, the matriarch of a very large extended family. Always available to help those in need. A strong, loving woman with a heart of gold, she raised four children, and was very involved in the lives of her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She is now at peace and reunited with her large family whom the Lord called to Heaven before her. Aurevoir, Ma. Tu nous manques beaucoup et nous seras toujours tres chere.
The family will receive visitors at HETHERINGTON AND DEANS FUNERAL CHAPEL, 5176 Victoria Avenue, Niagara Falls on Tuesday June 5th from 7-9pm and a Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday June 6th at 11:00am with interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of one’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
