Walter Robert Current Jr.

Walt was born on December 6, 1958 in Newton, to the late Walter and Jeanne (Harris) Current. Walt grew up and was a lifelong resident of Andover Township. Prior to his retirement, he was a Heavy Machine Operator for Sussex County and Andover Township Road Department; he also worked at FW Bennett & Son, Inc. Walt was an avid hunter and fisherman; he was as a member of Alcan Rod & Gun Club Hunting. Walter was talented in woodworking and carpentry. Most importantly, Walt enjoyed spending time with his loving family.

Walter is survived by his children, Robert James Current (Rachel Barletta), Carrie Lee Current (Daniel Charles Wohlleb), Lori Jeanne Current, Katie Susan Saunders (Jeffrey), Walter Levi Current and Michael Charles Current; his grandchildren, Damien, Jayden, Jordyn, Logan, Sage, Mason, Jackson; his sisters, Diane Bucino and Jeanee Mooney and his wife, Darlene Current. Along with his parents, his nephew, Frank Bucino, Jr., predeceased Walter.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
