Stanley was born on October 23, 1948 in Newark, NJ to the late John and Ruth (Coari) Brownlee. Stanley grew up in Verona before settling in Sussex County in 1983, in Stillwater where he raised his family. Stanley was a proud graduate of Bloomfield College, where he earned his bachelor's degree. Prior to his retirement, he worked at Artisan Electronics in Parsippany and Three Seasons Garden Design in Stillwater.
As a man with a deep connection to the natural world, Stanley spent his days with his family enjoying the beauty and simplicity of nature. His free time was often spent pursuing his passions for hunting, fishing, and gardening.
One of his biggest joys in life was his marriage to his wife, Laura Brownlee. Stanley and Laura's marriage was a beautiful example of true love and dedication to all who knew them.
The beloved husband to Laura Brownlee, Stanley is also survived by his daughters, Joanne Nieman (Michael) and Aimee Bannon (Sean); his grandchildren, Adina Nieman, Aria Angle, Stanley Bannon, Elias Nieman, Rosalee Bannon and Vivian Bannon; his sister, Deborah Ludwig (Herbert) and many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Along with his parents, Stanley was predeceased by his brother, John Brownlee.
