Sophie was born on January 10, 1932, in Union Township. She grew up in Morris Plains before settling in Parsippany-Troy Hills over 50 years ago. Sophie retired after over 60 years of service as a registered nurse, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and expertise.
In her retirement, Sophie embraced the joys of life with enthusiasm. She was an avid fan of bingo, and her competitive spirit was matched only by her love of dancing. She had a particular passion for country western dancing.
Sophie is survived by her daughter, Julia Wilson and her husband, Thomas Schwenk.
