He was born October 9, 1952 the son of John H. and Jean (Baker) Kevoian in Norwalk CA. Peter attended Norwalk High School and Long Beach State University studying theater.
He is survived by his brothers John D. Kevoian of Anderson IN and Robert J. & Becky Kevoian of Indianapolis, IN; a sister, Marianne L. Kevoian-Baxter of Vancouver, WA, and his most beloved friend, Sharon (Muffy) Hendrix of Oxnard, CA.
His nieces and nephews who he accepted as his own children, Kristina (Kevoian) & Wayne Evans of Plattsburgh, NY; Jeffrey Kevoian and his companion Kim Betzler of Indianapolis IN; Philip & Amanda Baxter of Vancouver, WA; Holly (Baxter) & Scott Clegg of Vancouver, WA; Toby Kevoian of Indianapolis, IN, his Goddaughter April Hendrix-Cervantes of Oxnard, CA and her children Nile and Phoenix. In addition to 5 great-nieces and 5 great-nephews.
Peter was predeceased by his parents John H. and Jean (Baker) Kevoian, and a brother-in-law Richard Baxter.
Peter’s acting career began with childhood home movies. Peter, his brother Bob and sister Marianne joined the Young Americans performing across the country during high school. He started his own singing telegram business in Los Angeles, CA. He acted in a variety of Broadway performances and television appearances to include the Tony award winning production of Phantom of the Opera on Broadway in 1988. Other notable performances include WICKED, Cats, Les Misérables, Fiddler on the Roof, and television shows LA Law, Cheers, and Doogie Howser MD to name a few. He was also a frequent guest performer on the Bob and Tom Radio Show. His heart was full with his family and close friends. He enjoyed visits with them while traveling for shows. In recent years, Happy Hour conference calls were a weekly tradition with siblings.
