Michael was born on June 27, 1963 in Paterson, New Jersey to James and Anna (Lucus) Duffy. Prior to settling in Stillwater, Michael also lived in Clifton and Stockholm.
Michael worked for Marcal in Elmwood Park as a Paper Mill Manager for 35 years. In his free time, he was an avid outdoorsman with a passion for nature and a flair for fishing. He enjoyed kayaking, and was open to any activities that involved the great outdoors. Above all, Michael had a kind, giving heart and always went above and beyond to help others. He was known to take care of children in need and provided comfort to all those around him. Even in death, Michael gave the gift of life to several people as a tissue donor; he will always be remembered as an eternal giver.
Michael is survived by his beloved wife, Charlene Duffy; his son Michael C. Duffy; his daughter Caitlin Yeates; his step-daughter Randi Adamitis; his step-daughter Samantha Grieco; and his 5 grandchildren, Aubree, Olivia, Mallory, Rhett, & Eleanor.

A Celebration of Michael's Life will take place at 1pm on Sunday, July 9, 2023 at 917 Main St, Newton, NJ 07860.
