Mary Frances Marsh

Mary was born in Newark, NJ and moved to Newton, NJ at a young age. She worked in the housekeeping department of Andover Subacute and Rehabilitation Center prior to her retirement. Mary was an avid bingo player, finding love and joy in the game and always lighting up the room with her enthusiasm.

Mary was preceded in death by her life partner, Harold T. Norman, Sr.; her parents, Anthony Scabet and Mable Green; her son, Joseph Marsh; her brothers, William, Frank, and James Scabet; and her sisters, Rose Emmer and Katheryn Marsh. Mary is survived by her son, Robert Scabet; her granddaughter, Michelle Scabet; her sister, Peggy Booth; as well as many nieces, nephews, step-children, step-grandchildren, and step-great-grandchildren.

A visitation for Mary will be held from 10 am to 12 pm on Friday, October 11, 2024, at Smith-McCracken Funeral Home, 63 High St., Newton, NJ 07860. Following the visitation, interment will immediately follow in Vaughan Cemetery, 641 Lafayette Rd, Lafayette, NJ 07848.
