Marian O. Gallagher

Marian was born in Newark, to the late William and Catherine Repta. She grew up in Irvington and graduated from Upsala College with a Bachelor's in Elementary Education. Prior to her retirement she worked as an Elementary School Teacher at Franklin School in Union. She was an active member of New Jersey Education Association.

The beloved wife of the late Joseph P. Gallagher, she is survived by 19 nieces and nephews and many great-nieces and great-nephews. She will be missed by many.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 20, 2020 from 6-8 p.m. at Smith-McCracken Funeral Home, 63 High Street, Newton, NJ 07860. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at 11 a.m. at St. Anne Cemetery in Wall, NJ.
