Margaret Elizabeth Smith

Margaret was born in Jersey City, NJ on August 15, 1951 to the late Henry and Leah (Armstrong) Johnson. She grew up and lived most of her life in Jersey City before settling in Hampton Township 7 years ago. Prior to her retirement, she was a nurse at Peace Care St. Anne’s in Jersey City. Margaret cherished spending time with her beloved family and took joy in crocheting.

The beloved wife to the late George J. Smith, Margaret is survived by her children, Nolan Kierce and Jessica Smith-Chantes and her husband, Andres; her grandchildren, Logan and Braedyn Chantes and her brother, Raymond Johnson and his wife Carole. Along with her husband and parents, Margaret is predeceased by her brother, Alan Johnson.

A memorial service with interment at Saint Thomas Cemetery in Ogdensburg, NJ will take place privately at a later date.
