Kathleen Vogel

Kathleen was born in Jersey City, New Jersey on July 21,1945 to the late James and Kathleen (O'Grady) Watson.

Kathie met her husband, Fred Vogel, on December 11, 1986, five days prior to him joining the Airforce. Kathie and Fred got married three years later on January 27th, 1990, in Brookside, NJ.

Kathie’s love for animals was a defining part of who she was, always offering them comfort care, and a safe place to call home. While living in England, Kathie found joy in making friends with every dog she met. To her husband, learning to love animals through Kathie is a treasure he will carry with him forever.

Kathie is survived by her beloved husband of 35 years, Fred Vogel; her sister, Elin Eshelbach (Karl), her siblings-in-law, Rita, Sandy, Janice, Sharon, Thaila, Maria, John, Steve, Mark, and Paul. Along with her parents, Kathie is predeceased by her sister, Trish Watson and her sisters-in-law, Carol and Donna.

A memorial mass will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 3, 2025, at Our Lady of Mt Carmel Roman Catholic Church, 203 Swartswood Rd, Swartswood, NJ.
