Kathleen Elizabeth Ritchie

Kathleen was born in Paterson, NJ on September 2, 1947 to the late Samuel Ritchie and Ruth (Baxter) Norton. Kathleen grew up in Passaic County before settling in Morris County for most of her life. Kathleen was a United States Army Veteran who served during the Vietnam War as a 1st Lieutenant 97th General Hospital in Frankfurt, Germany. Prior to her retirement, she was a registered nurse for many years at Wayne General Hospital and then at Emerald/Loving Care in Passaic County. Kathleen was known for her creative crafts and being an exceptional grandmother.

Kathleen is survived by her daughter, Bryanna DeKorte and her husband, Andrew; her grandchildren, Arabella, Andrew and Jace DeKorte; her sister Denise VanDerVeen and her loving nieces, nephew and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in the Spring.
