John was born in Harford Township, Pennsylvania and raised in Frankford Township. He worked as a truck driver for the Frankford Township Road Department for many years prior to retirement. John was a talented mechanic and enjoyed passing his knowledge on to friends and family.
John loved racecars and dirt track racing. He shared this passion with many around him and his infatuation was infectious. John was an outdoorsman and particularly enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was an extremely compassionate person and wanted to help everyone. John loved his family and friends deeply.
John was predeceased by his parents, William and Elisie (Klim) Conrad; his brothers, William, Fred, Harry and Danny Conrad; and his sister, Amelia Malone. He is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Joanne Conrad; his children, Michelle Conrad, Tammy Conrad, Johnny Conrad; his grandchildren, Derek Conrad, Jaiden Mafaro and Austin Conrad; his siblings, Roger Conrad, Bobby Conrad, Mike Conrad, Joan Phillips and Lois Pugh; and his nieces, nephews and former sons-in-law, Billy Floystad and Jason Mafaro.
