Fred Dansereau was born in Claremont, NH in 1933 and lived for over 40 years at Kemah Lake in Hampton Township, NJ.
After studying in Boston, he began a 40-year career at CBS television network in New York, rising to the level of Technical Director. He graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He and His wife, Barbara Gwinn Dansereau, travelled with CBS to Japan and Latin America as well as to US Political Conventions.
Fred and Barbara were married for 66 years. They had 4 children: Michelle Johnson (Lowell) of Raleigh, NC; Peter Dansereau (Colleen) of Kingston, MA; Edmond Dansereau (Mandy)of Rutland, VT ; and Anne Duggan (D. Joseph) of Rochester, MA. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and (So far!) 8 great-grandchildren.
Fred was a passionate golfer and skier. After retirement, he golfed at Farmstead, and worked as an instructor at Mountain Creek.
Fred was known for his generosity and work-ethic. He will be missed by family and friends.
