Anthony was born in Newton, NJ, and spent his life in the heart of Sussex County. For many years, he worked as a head operator and 4-color printer at Newco, Inc. in Newton before retiring.
But beyond his work, it was his ability to bring joy to others that truly set him apart. A master joke teller, Anthony’s infectious laugh and quick wit could brighten any room. He had a rare gift for making people smile, no matter the circumstances, and his humor was a constant source of warmth to those around him.
Football was another passion that defined Anthony’s life—he loved both playing and watching the game. His heart belonged to the Steelers, and he was a loyal fan through and through. He also had a deep love for NASCAR, with a special place in his heart for Jeff Gordon.
A man of deep faith, Anthony found comfort and strength in his relationship with God. He cherished the time he spent reading and reflecting on the Bible, drawing guidance and peace from its words. He was an active member of the Shepherd's Chapel in Gravette, AR, and the Christian Faith Fellowship Church in Franklin, NJ, where his faith was the cornerstone of his life.
Anthony was known for his remarkable work ethic, giving his all to every task he took on, no matter how big or small. But more than anything, he treasured his family. As a father, grandfather, and brother, his loved ones were his greatest pride. He found his deepest joy in being surrounded by them, and his devotion to them was unshakeable.
Anthony was predeceased by his parents, Herbert and Hildagarde (TeBout) Blair, and his brother, David Blair. He leaves behind his children, Stephon Blair (Kaitlyn), Devon Blair, and Denez Blair; his beloved grandchildren, Leon Kyrie Blair and Zyon James Blair; and his siblings, Herbert Blair, Walter Blair, and Hildagarde Joy Swinson. His legacy of love, laughter, and faith will remain in the hearts of all who knew him.
