Youa Vang

Our beautiful mother, Youa Vang was born on June 8th, 1951, in Xulong Xaseng, Laos. She is the 4th oldest out of 13 children to Chia Yeng Yang (biological father), Shong Cai Vang (Stepfather) and Ker Vue. She has 3 brothers (Nhia Thao Yang, Pao Vang and Cher Yang-deceased) and 7 sisters (Shoua Yang, Blia Yang, Dia Vang, Khou Vang, Yia Vang, Yer Vang and Sheng Vang-deceased). Youa married her husband Pa Cher Vue in 1969 in Laos. Youa and her husband came to America and settled in Rhode Island in 1980. Youa and her husband are survived by their 4 sons (Xoua Vue, Loua Vue, Kong Vue and Xiong Vue) and 3 daughters (Ka Vue, Bao Vue and Mai Yer Vue). They also have 25 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Her husband Pa Cher Vue passed away on November 5th, 2015.

Youa lived in Morganton, North Carolina for the last 6 years and was called to her home in heaven on October 15th, 2021, she was 70 years old.

More than anything else, Youa was our entire world. She was the most wonderful, kind-hearted, caring, selfless and loving Mother & Grandmother. We hope to only continue the legacy she has built for our amazing family and that her memory lives on in the love she has bestowed upon all of us. We will love you forever and always, our beautiful Mommy and Grandma Youa Vang. May you rest peacefully in heaven among the angels.
