Lynda Lee Moore
June 18, 1943 – July 16, 2016
IN THE CARE OF
Mrs. Lynda Lee Moore, age 73, of Conover, passed away on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at her residence. She was born on June 18, 1943 in Fairfax County, VA to Bernice L. McDonald and Sumner H. Cohen.
Lynda was an active member of her community and volunteered for many different organizations including; the Newton Senior Citizens Club, the Catawba County Council on Aging, the Neighbors Network, the Catawba County Library and Claremont Elementary School.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Mr. Thomas A. Moore.
Survivors include her daughter, Lara N.A. Moore of Newton; and her mother, Bernice L. McDonald of Hickory.
A gathering of friends to celebrate Lynda’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at Willis-Reynolds Funeral Home in Newton, NC.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Humane Society of Catawba County, P.O. Box 63, Hickory, NC 28603.
