Jason Lindy Miller

Jason Lindy Miller, 38, of Hickory, North Carolina died March 13, 2013 at his residence. Born April 23, 1974 in Catawba County, NC, he was the son of Alvin Ray Miller & stepmother, Sherry Miller and Linda Houston Perry & stepfather Lonnie E. Perry. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Alvin Lindy Miller & Ruby Pruitt Miller and Foy Marshall & Elsie Centers Houston.

A loving father, son and brother, and a good friend to many, he is survived by one son, Devan Gage Miller of the home and one daughter Oma Gallagher of Hickory. His brothers, Kenneth Ray Miller and wife, Jennifer of Lenoir, Jeffrey Brian Miller and wife, Carolyn of Kannapolis, Mark Miller of Hickory and sister, Michelle Miller of Hickory, are left to cherish his memory. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles and the family of Sherrill Furniture where he was employed for over 10 years.

The funeral will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at Drum Funeral Home & Cremations in Hickory. The Reverend Larry Cooley will officiate and burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Hickory.

Rodney Houston, Jr., Justin Roberts, Jeff Jenkins, Jason Holland, Walter Garcia, Travis Hairston, Tanner Sittig and Dion Hines will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends on Friday, March 15, 2013 from 7:00-9:00 pm at Drum Funeral Home & Cremations in Hickory.
