Jane Cornelia Yoder, 77 of Newton passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2022. A native of Catawba County she was the daughter of the late Allen Edward and Margaret Ellen Setzer Shugart. She was a teacher for Catawba County Schools and attended Christ United Methodist Church on Zion Church Rd.
Mrs. Yoder is survived by her husband, Jimmie Yoder; son, Easton and wife Glenna Yoder; 2 grandchildren, Skylar and Adison Yoder.
A private Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel of Willis Reynolds Funeral Home Newton, NC.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Catawba County Humane Society, 3224 20th Ave. SE, Hickory, NC 28602.
