Grace Boone

Born October 20, 1922, she was the daughter of the late William Lindsey Boone and Plexie Ann Boone and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Newton.

Left to cherish her memory are her sister, Dorothy Velma Bowman, of Newton; nephew, Fred S. Bowman, Jr., and wife, Patricia, of Lincolnton; niece, Dorothy Ann Bowman, of Newton; great nieces, Misty Dawn Bowman of Concord, and Jennifer Lynn Bowman of Raleigh.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 2, 2014, at 11:00 a.m., in the Chapel of Willis-Reynolds Funeral Home in Newton, with Rev. Ed Yarborough, and Rev. Fred Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in McDowell Memorial Park in Marion.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., at Willis-Reynolds Funeral Home in Newton.
