Ger Vang

Ger “Anee” Vang is our beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, and friend. He was born the sixth child of Saisue S. Vang and Maikia Her on November 3, 1993 in Fresno, California. Anee has a total of four brothers and three sisters. His brothers are Miky Vang married to Mailee Yang, Her Vang married to Cylivia Lee, Leo Vang, and Chang Vang married to Ashley Gunter. His sisters are Bao Vang who is deceased, Ong Vang, and Ia Vang married to Mengmo Lo. Terry Vang and Kenshin Vang are his nephews. Melody Vang, Tesla Vang, Delaney Vang, and Pepper Vang are his nieces.

Anee spent the first five years of his life in Fresno, California. Anee and his family moved to North Carolina in 1998 in search of a better place to raise a family. In North Carolina, Anee and his family lived in Mount Airy for two years where Anee attended first and second grade before his family moved and settled in Hickory, North Carolina. There, Anee attended Saint Stephens Elementary School, Arndt Middle School, and Saint Stephens High School where he graduated with his high school diploma in 2012. After finishing high school, Anee dedicated himself and worked at Target Distribution until his passing. Anee worked hard to provide for himself and his loving parents. The things that Anee loved and cherished the most in life were his parents, his yellow Integra Type R, playing video games, and attending music festivals with family and friends.

Anee loved his family and friends unconditionally, always putting everyone before him. We, as his family and friends, are incredibly thankful to have had Anee in our lives. His life motto is “Be a good person” and a good person he was for 24 years of his life. Anee has made a huge difference and a positive impact in each of our lives and will forever remain in our hearts for as long as we should live.
