William Michael Moran was born August 8, 1946. Born and raised in San Bernardino, California, he was the apple of his grandmother’s eye. At 17, he joined the United States Navy. After four years of service, he received an honorable discharge. Shortly thereafter, in 1967, he married his wife, Laura, and they were blessed with three beautiful children. At the outset of his career, he worked as an engineer for Rohr Industries, simultaneously attending law school. He was a very hard worker, and his dreams were focused on making his wife’s dreams come true, as well being a devoted father and provider. He graduated law school with a Juris Doctor, passed the Bar, and began a law practice with Steve Friedman, and together they worked for many years. Bill enjoyed traveling with the family to Yosemite, and loved the country. Many wonderful times were spent with his wife at beautiful destinations around the world. Bill enjoyed golfing, football, and his recliner. He had the San Diego Chargers under his wing, and his son, Billy, carries the torch as one of the team’s most devoted fans.
Bill and the family attended the Northridge Seventh-day Adventist church. In the last year prior to his illness, he drew closest to God. It was his wife’s endeavor to use the blessing of the gift of ministry to ensure for her husband the gift of salvation.
Bill will be greatly missed by his family: his wife, Laura, and his children Billy, Belinda, Frank, his steadfast grandson, Jerry, and his cherished grandbabies, Logan and Londyn.
We look forward to the day when we will all be together again.
