I just watched the rocketeer with my family, for the first time since I originally saw it in 1991. 
And thought , ‘What a great character that tall goon was’
I looked it up and it was Tiny Ron Taylor and I got to learn a little about him, and discovered this memorial page. 
What a life Tiny Ron must have had. Great pictures of him in his USC playing days. Must have been a beast on the court. 
Looks like a gentle giant who was a loving family man. My condolences as I know how hard it is to lose a loved one. Rest In Peace 

I'm just a fan that wanted pay my deepest sympathies and respect.  I am watching him now in one of my favorite performances of him in "The Rocketeer". I am saddened to just now hear of his passing.  Thank you to his family for sharing such lovely pictures of his life. He's greatly missed but, his legacy of love and work will live on forever . God bless~

Tiny Ron was my favorite and only uncle I had that was still alive. He was always so funny and always knew how to make us laugh. Last time I saw him he wasn’t in a very good state but I’m glad I at least got to see him and give him a big hug. I will miss you Uncle so much 💕

I was a Grade school and High school classmate of Ron Taylor. Despite his towering height and strength,  he never was a bully, in fact just the opposite,  he often protected the little guy. I admired him as a person  and friend. I hope our Lord has a BIG place in heaven  for this Big man, with a Big heart and Big sole. Until we meet again,  RIP Ron.

It is never easy to lose those we love. May The Taylor family find peace as they mourn Tiny Ron.
