Sylvia Capps

Born on August 17, 1926

Passed away on Friday, December 9, 2022 at the age of 96.

With her daughter holding her hand, she passed away peacefully where we are confident she was welcomed by her husband and son.

Sylvia was born in London, England and left her Mother, two sisters and two brothers to come to America on the Queen Mary when she 19 years old with her 6 month old baby boy. She was a strong woman and was able to make a life here in the United States, even if it did not go according to plan.

Without our Mom, our Nana, our Nana Nana being brave and prideful everything we are and have would not have been possible. She was married for 42 years, had two children, 7 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren!

We are all so lucky to have had so many years, so many memories with my Mom, our Nana, our Nana Nana. Anyone who has met Sylvia over the years loved her and enjoyed speaking to her. She had so many great stories that we all will cherish and pass on.

Sylvia was deeply loved and will be greatly missed. Whenever you miss her all you have to do is put on the kettle and have a cup of tea. She will be right there with you, smiling and saying "that's a lovely cup of tea"
