I want to say that I was truly BLESSED to have known Sandra for 35+ years who I called Mom and only wished that my own  mom could have been half the amazing, wonderful, loving, caring & giving woman that Sandra was. And I want to also say thank you for raising such a BEAUTIFUL daughter who is my Best Friend Sherri I love you with all my heart.  Mom I  will miss your beautiful smile but I will always cherish all of the wonderful family memories that we shared!! May you rest in Paradise. I Love you Forever my ANGEL!!!     

I only knew Sandy for a short 4 months, but it was a great 4 months.  I live across the street and have known Marie for 10 years.  Leo passed just 3 months after we moved in.  My memory of Leo was seeing him and his "scooter crew", which always puts a smile on my face.  When I found out that these 2 women were going to be roommates and their connection to Leo, I thought what special hearts they must have.  As I got to know them together, I learned these 2 women were family.  Sandy would sit on the front porch smoking her cigarette,  she never failed to look up and say "Hello!" to me or Joe.  I would tell my husband I'm getting the mail, and wouldn't return for an hour(Joe would say it was for two hours).  I would just sit with them on the porch and have some great talks, and in those talks I knew how much Sandy loved her family.  As we would be talking Sandy would stop and say "Hello!" to anyone walking by.  Myself and family have been blessed to have known Sandy, even though it was only for a short time.
