It's been a couple of years since he's passed, and not a day goes by that I don’t think of my friendship with him.  I only had the chance to get to know him for a couple of years, but the time will forever leave an indelible mark on my life and serve as my daily reminder for gratitude…gratitude for the time and experiences we get to share with those truly unique people who you feel like you've known your entire life.  My heart still goes out you all - his entire family.  I wish all the best for you all as he did for my son and I, he made us feel like family...a truly unique and special man.  Best regards forever and always.

My only memories of my cousin are of him happy and healthy. Christmas at his parents house in Torrance CA, The Seitz family gathering at Rec Park in El Segundo. Beyond those few times I recall I knew very little of who Ryan became or what he accomplished or even overcame. I’ll miss my cousin nonetheless, and my heart and prayers go out to his parents and siblings.

I often think of when we tiled your dad’s front balcony. 
I could see that you had our grandfathers talent in construction.
Years later and that balcony has not leaked.
I can see you helping on projects in Heaven.
Know that you you have touched people’s lives during your 48 years.
Not to mention that you were an actor, and I got to watch you on Three’s Company.

So very sorry for the loss of my Nephew Ryan.    I was 13 when he was born and living in Washington State.  I was lucky enough to come to California every summer to visit.  I was able to spend time with the kids during these visits!  What a cute kid he was!!   
I know Ryan was greeted in Heaven by his Gramma Dot and Grandpa Seitz .  
God bless him  rest in peace now Ryan

In 1975 Phil and I flew to Seattle with Katie and Ryan to see grandpa and grandma Seitz and the "Seattle Family".  Ryan was just learning how to walk and talk...  His nickname was "Harpo" as Katie did all the talking for him and he never said a word!  Loved that cutie pie!!

I have two memories of Ryan that stand out:

1)  Ryan was 5 years old and visiting our small apartment at the beach.  I walked outside and there was Ryan peeing on the wall.  He said he didn't want to come in because he was covered with sand.

2) Ryan was 10 years old and visiting our home in San Pedro.  He had been outside riding his skateboard on the hill near our house.  I heard a knock at the door and there was Ryan bleeding from his forehead as the result of a skateboard crash.  I closed the door, walked into the kitchen, and told Tree "It's for you".
