Born in Tampa, FL, the youngest of 4. His family moved to North Hollywood in 1929. He served in the Army 1943-1946. Bob met and married Ellen Renee Stone in 1947. They settled in the San Fernando Valley and had 3 sons. Bob worked as a carpenter, propman, and finally department head of electric fixtures on many movies and TV shows at various studios. Bob and Ellen travelled extensively during vacations and after retiring in 1987. Bob is survived by Ellen and his sons, Robert Jr, Phillip, and Richard; 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. A private service will be held in Valencia Friday, May 11.
